For as long as I can remember I have been interested in watches.

My father gifted me my first one when I turned 16 by explaining to me that a watch is a man made object to measure time however “time” is a human construct, thus he mentioned that the watch function and the enginnering that goes along with creating it is better appreciated by using a watch to remind us that “ there is only X amount of time to do what we need to do” rather than contemplating and measuring time itself.

I have done several projects with established brands (Rolex and Hermes).

 I have also done consuting on design and materials for other startups and my appreciation and knowledge has developed considerably.

I still have a sizable collection of relevant vintage pieces, however lately given the awareness of the watch market by the public at large and economic disparity we experience today, it has become passe and dangerous to walk around with expensive watches.

During Covid I started to research the manufacture of watches and explore vintage designs from the 1960’s and 70’s (tool watches inspired by aviation, car racing, sailing and diving).

 I continued the research on my own and found the best manufacturers for watch parts, movements and bands. I started experimenting with different designs and materials, producing several prototypes.

After rigorous testing and over 3 years of use our pieces have proven to be accurate and imbued with vintage inspired designs.
